Studio 6 | The Urban Corridor

The Gonen neighborhoods (8th and 9th), is a crucial development that interrupts the natural green connection between Nahal Rehavia channel and Nahal Refaim. This area plays a key role in enhancing the city's green spaces and integrating urban development with planned transportation routes. It strategically bridges both sides of the district, completing a seamless green continuum and providing connectivity to main promenades and transportation hubs. The proposed construction evacuation project aligns with urban densification goals, intending to double residential units and triple overall housing, contributing to a more vibrant urban landscape. The emphasis on preserving green spaces underscores the plan's commitment to redefining pedestrian routes and supporting natural ecology within the new neighborhood, establishing it as a central hub linking Jerusalem's northern and southern neighborhoods.
